Dear participants in the Immunoanalytical Days Conference,
Following last year’s successful 41st conference, which took place online, we would like to invite you to the 42nd Immunoanalytical Days Conference. The conference will take place between March 27th -29th 2022, in Pilsen again. Given the current epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic, there is great hope that this year’s event will take place in person.
We would like to encourage the individual laboratories to present their results mainly in the form of posters and subsequently in educational lectures that will provide the audience with an overview of each lab’s findings. Since the posters are electronic, it is desirable that as many of you as possible try to present and show off your results, as this will certainly serve as the basis for a rich exchange of views.
The basic topic of the conference will remain the clinical use of immunoanalytical methods in medical practice, especially in the following fields: oncology, cardiology and endocrinology.
An integral part of the conference will be the section on SARS-CoV-2, as well as the traditional section dedicated to biobanks.
The program will also include workshops. So far, the following workshop topics have been proposed: the issue of vitamin D, neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, and a completely new topic: measuring the effects of spa treatments objectively. The latter section will be implemented in cooperation with the newly established Institute of Spa and Balneology, v.v.i. Karlovy Vary (Institut lázeňství a balneologie, v.v.i. Karlovy Vary). In addition, much attention will be devoted to innovation in immunoassay: new technologies and innovations in instrumentation that are not yet in routine practice, but hold promise for the future.
We are currently working intensively on the preparation of the professional program and we believe that, as in previous years, the 2022 program will be filled with lectures that will interest you.
We look forward to meeting in person once again, as we used to.
